Day 1:
Transfer to the hotel on the Turkish Riviera.
Day 2:
First we visit Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) with the famous natural wonder of the limestone terraces. Afterwards we visit the ancient Hierapolis, famous for its tombs of Greek and Roman periods.Stay in Pamukkale.
Day 3:
Today we drive through the fertile landscape of western Turkey.Today we admire Ephesus, the city known as the largest outdoor museum of the Roman Empire. Mother Mary strike of course we do not have and will visit her house. We stay in the lively seaside Kusadasi.
Day 4:
Today we take you back to the first remains of the St. John Basilica in Selcuk. Here was buried Apostle John. Then we drive a scenic route along the Aegean Sea to Bergama, ancient Pergamon, the Acropolis, with its steep theater and the Trajan Temple, to enjoy. Overnight in the area of Ayvalik.
Day 5:
We drive further north where we end up in Troy. Here we see a replica of the legendary "Trojan Horse". We follow our route along the coast of the Sea of Marmara to Bursa, where we overnight.
Day 6:
We visit Yesil Cami (Green Mosque), the Ulu Cami (Great Mosque) and the famous silk bazaar. On the way to Istanbul, we cross a ferry on the Sea of Marmara. We spend three nights in Istanbul.
Day 7:
Istanbul is the city where Europe and Asia merge, the two continents are only separated by the Bosphorus. Course, visit the Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque), Hagia Sophia and the Hippodrome.
Day 8:
Topkapi Palace is now on schedule, once the palace of the Ottoman Sultans. The afternoon is at leisure. (Optional program is offered)
Day 9:
We drive through the beautiful green country side to the capital Ankara. Here we visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, better known as the Hittites Museum. Overnight in Ankara.
Day 10:
We drive south from Ankara to Cappadocia where we stay three nights.
Day 11:
In the valley of Goreme are many rock churches and visit one of the underground city, once a refuge for Christians in times of persecution.
Day 12:
Valleys and visit several such walks by Pasabag Valley, Pigeon Valley and Uchisar. Then today are introduced to the Turkish Carpet Arts
Day 13:
On the way to Konya we pass one of the most caravanserais in Turkey: Sultanhani. Konya Mevlana Museum and visit the monastery and we also have our night
Day 14:
After breakfast we leave Konya and drive through a beautiful route through the mighty Taurus Mountains to Antalya, the final destination of our journey.
